What is Edgewood Events...

Hello everyone and welcome to the first blog of Edgewood Events! I figured starting here would be a small way to let you into what we do and how everything works. If you are reading this maybe you are planning a wedding, booked with us for another event, or maybe just one of our amazing supporters and followers of my business journey.

For those who may not have known, I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for years. Three of those years I spent as a Wedding Coordinator for a venue. In this time, I have work with over 80 couples just like some of you, putting together their big and special day. After departing from this position and keeping some of the “nightmares” of the event industry in my head, I knew exactly where I needed to be. My goal and journey was to create a local business with budget friendly pricing and the overall assistance to help make your big day STRESS FREE!


So, the real question…what is Edgewood Events LLC? Edgewood Events is made of 3 divisions or as some may say, 3 VENDORS IN ONE! Talk about stress free


1. Event Coordination-

The first division is Event Coordination. You are basically getting a right-hand friend to be with you from booking your vendors to cutting your cake on the wedding day. With a variety of packages and services, all coordination is customized to your needs. You forget that extra bottle of fireball, I got you. You need family control, I got you! LOL On a serious note, everything is based on your day and your specific needs. Packages are adjusted accordingly!


2. Décor Design-

The second division is Décor Design. This is basically how it sounds, designing and setting up your décor. However, one of my biggest pet peeves in working all these weddings was seeing the amount of money families would spend on decorations, just to have a personalized vision. Let’s face it, we all know where these items are going after the wedding, FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE!! Waste of money. My solutions to assisting with this nightmare was to basically rent out décor items (centerpieces, ceremony arches, card table décor, and so much more). These items are all set at rental costs and then would be set up by us on your wedding day! Already have your own décor?? No problem, we will handle setting those items as well as boxing up for you at the end of the event.


3. Floral-

The big expensive “F” word! The floral industry has spiked with pricing in the last year alone, however, what is a wedding, event, holiday, or even special occasion without FLOWERS?! Well, my promise to myself in opening was to be create this third division as not only an affordable but a stress-free process in ordering and receiving. We offer floral services for weddings, funerals, holidays, birthdays, and so much more!


Everything is customizable!! With all, whether you are looking for someone who just does a little decorating, maybe just the flowers, or someone who will help you or a friend plan the wedding from setting the date to sending thank you cards, we have you covered.
